L’arte degli ultimi due secoli sembra seguire una deriva che mette in discussione la nozione di stessa di «opera» in quanto oggetto d’arte istituzionale ed esponibile: attraverso la pratica sistematica del «déplacement», della «messa fuori luogo». La domanda che percorre il saggio è però, a sua volta, spiazzante: non sarà che la forma-museo, ossia l’istituzione che sembra consacrata all’opera nella sua accezione più statica e tradizionale, è proprio la matrice primigenia di ogni «déplacement» ? Il museo essendo per definizione «il luogo degli oggetti fuori luogo», si potrebbe affermare che la «messa fuori luogo» come pratica in apparenza trasgressiva delle scuole anticlassiche trova nel museo la propria fondazione e giustificazione ultima.
Abstract [Eng]
The art of the last two centuries seems to follow a deviation process, which calls into question the notion of «work» itself as an institutional and displayable object of art: through the systematic practice of «déplacement», of putting the object «out of its normal place». The aim of this contribution is to suggest that the «museum» – the main institution of the traditional «work of art» – could be the original matrix of any «déplacement». The museum is «the place of the displaced objects as such»: one could then maintain that the (revolutionary) practice of putting objects «out of place» finds in the museum its basic justification.
