Il simbolismo del bianco e del nero attraversa il saggio. La tastiera del clavicembalo e del pianoforte è il primo esempio. Poi il bianco come colore del lutto in Marija Gimbutas, nella scrittura oracolare dell’antica Cina e infine in Jorge Luis Borges.

Throughout the essay, the symbolism of black and white can be found. The clavichord and piano keyboard is the first example. Then, white as the colour of mourning in Marija Gimbutas, in the oracular writing of ancient China and finally in Jorge Luis Borges.
