Nell’articolo mi propongo di esaminare la sezione della “Dottrina dell’essenza” della Scienza della Logica dedicata al fondamento. Qui, Hegel, in particolare nelle sezioni su fondamento formale, reale e completo, delinea una struttura dialettica con una duplice caratteristica. Da un lato il fondamento non istituisce un piano trascendente quello delle condizioni reali del fenomeno; dall’altro la tautologia che esso esprime presenta un peculiare profilo dialettico-performativo. L’intento dell’articolo è indagare le condizioni e i presupposti su cui questa struttura si basa.

In presenting the section of Ground in the Science of Logic, I will show how on the ruins of dogmatic metaphysics after Kantian critical philosophy, Hegel builds, with the different figures of Ground, a totality of thought-determinations. Hegel explains this structure in the three parts of the section on Determinate Ground: formal ground, real ground and complete ground.
Complete Ground is at once a tautological reflection of real ground, and anything but a performative act. It does not constitute a new reality as a ground, but it introduces a new conception of totality that fully grants the autonomy and unequal development of real determinations.
